Responsibilities
- Manufacture and build bespoke furniture from drawings to a high standard (cabinets /doors /glass cutting)
- Quality control of completed work
- Deliver completed job packs to other sites, e.g. Birmingham
- Follow the goods-in procedure to check in deliveries and put away materials
- Maintain machinery and tools
- Assist the factory team to carry out month-end stock take each month
- Travel to customer’s homes to support installation team when required
- Occasional pickups from suppliers
- Assist in keeping the factory clean and tidy
- Ensure work is of a high standard to support Right-First-Time target
- Be fit, punctual, polite and enthusiastic
- Support the manufacturing team and team of fitters when required
- Always follow health and safety procedures within the factory
Criteria
Essential
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role
- Preferably experience in bench joinery
- Full clean driver’s licence
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Good level of fitness
