Colour pop

When choosing a new colour to incorporate into your room, make sure the hue you choose complements your existing colour scheme. Our Ocean Radiance mood board features blues, greens and greys. Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2019 is Living Coral which nicely enhances the neutral tones of Ocean Radiance.

Cushion the blow

If you’ve already invested in a chair or sofa, mix up the colours by adding cushions or throws. A great way to incorporate a new colour is to choose a pattern that hints to the new shade, rather than a block of colour. That way you can subtlety start to blend your two palettes and begin to bring the colours together.

Work of art

If you want to brighten up a natural wall, add a large painting or print to your room. Choose a painting that incorporates your chosen colour to draw the eye. If you have a large space, create a gallery wall featuring pictures in the same hues.

Bring the outdoors in

Vases and pots are a great way to add a splash of colour to your room. Bring the outdoors in by adding a few plants to your room. Use colourful pots and planters to incorporate a new colour. Plants also give a room a bright, airy feel and add a sense of calm.

Look down

Bring your new colour to the floor with a new rug. Choose a rug that matches your theme but also hints at other shades in your palette. Rugs also bring a warm, cosy feeling to a bedroom.
